Juliette Leroux, violin

After beginning violin at the age of 4, Juliette was accepted at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon under the tutelage of Marianne Piketty. She obtained a Prix de Master in 2016, with a mention spéciale for her interpretation of Schubert. She later pursued her studies in Germany at the Hochschule of Cologne under Barnabás Kelemen. There she also studied baroque violin with Richard Gwilt. In 2018, she joined the Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Jurowski. Today, she is pursuing her studies at the Berlin University of the Arts in the class of Tomasz Tomaszewski and the Artemis Quartet. Passionate about chamber music, she is a founding member of Le Collectif Fractales and Le festival Sanary en Musique. She has had the chance to play regularly with the Gustav Mahler Academy and the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. Every summer, she participates at different festivals such as le Festival des Lumières, Musique aux 4 Horizons, Les Chorégies d’Orange, Sanary en Musique, the Festival Academy Budapest, Les soirées du Castellet, and the Bolzano Festival Bozen. She has also shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Maxim Rysanov, Gilles Apap, Garett Lube, Michel Moragues, David Guerrier, Kazimierz Olechowski, Marie Jospeh Jude and Baranbás Kelemen.
